Magnetic North Technology’s smart payment solution has established a comprehensive, closed-loop ecosystem. The solution fully supports a wide range of mainstream payment methods, including card issuance, self-generated QR codes, NFC, UnionPay, Visa, Mastercard, WeChat Pay, and Alipay, thereby meeting diverse travel needs and significantly enhancing the passenger experience.

Integrated Hardware and Software

At the hardware level, the solution demonstrates exceptional flexibility and compatibility. The core device—the M10 series of in-vehicle smart payment terminals—supports contactless card transactions with all ISO 14443 Type A, Type B, and Mifare-compliant smart cards, completing a transaction in as little as 0.3 seconds. Featuring an industrial design and user-friendly operation, it is equipped with an integrated smart card reader, an LCD display, a barcode/QR code scanning module, audio prompts, and LED indicators. The enclosure boasts robust waterproof performance and also incorporates a powerful Encryption chip , ensuring the security and reliability of every transaction.

In addition, the product has passed EMV , E‑Mark, Mastercard, VISA, CE, RoHS, EAC, People's Bank of China and numerous other internationally recognized certifications, ensuring that quality and safety meet global standards.

At the software level, Magnetic North AFCS system adopts a three-tier architectural design featuring “flexible front-end integration, intelligent mid-end orchestration, and robust underlying infrastructure support.”

Full-service coverage: It covers the entire end-to-end process, from passenger card swiping to financial settlement, and from equipment management to data-driven decision-making.

Refined Operations: Managers can view real-time overviews of operational data, transaction volume statistics, and foot traffic analysis.

The entire system is not only stable and reliable but also highly scalable and adaptable to diverse business needs, serving as a “one-stop digital hub” specifically designed for modern public transportation.

In addition, to facilitate passengers’ travel, Cibei Technology has also launched a complementary “ Mobile Banking App “This app integrates card top-up, balance inquiry, scan-to-ride functionality, and ride-record tracking, making travel more convenient for passengers.”
