Mining Indonesia 2026 is in full swing! At the exhibition, Magnetic North is showcasing its Truck Monitoring and Operation Solution and Active Safety Driving Assistance Solution, addressing key challenges faced by mining, construction, and heavy-duty transportation fleets—including fuel theft, driver fatigue, blind spots, unsafe driving behaviors, and inefficient dispatch management.

Through this exhibition, Magnetic North is demonstrating its comprehensive technology capabilities across the entire solution chain, from intelligent onboard devices to cloud-based management platforms. By integrating hardware, software, and data-driven management, Magnetic North delivers an efficient, safe, and intelligent end-to-end solution for heavy-duty fleet operations.

Mining roads are often challenging to navigate, with heavy-duty vehicles, long operating hours, mixed traffic, and frequent nighttime operations creating multiple safety risks. Under these conditions, traditional passive management based on “reviewing footage after an incident” is no longer enough to identify and prevent risks in real time.

To address these challenges, Magnetic North is showcasing an integrated, end-to-end solution at Mining Indonesia 2026. Through the deep integration of the Vehicle Data Recorder (VDR) J30, radar-based safety detection, ultrasonic fuel-level sensors, Driver Monitoring System (DMS), and cloud-based management platform, the solution brings people, vehicles, roads, fuel, and cargo into one unified monitoring system.

The system provides real-time risk alerts at the point of occurrence, while simultaneously recording and tracking events on the management platform. This enables every abnormal event to be traced, assessed, and managed through a closed-loop process, helping mining operators strengthen safety management, improve operational efficiency, and gain greater visibility across their entire fleet.

J30 Vehicle Data Recorder

The J30 integrates video recording, GPS/BeiDou positioning, remote communication, and platform data upload capabilities. It supports long-term storage of driving, alarm, and event recordings, and links with cameras, sensors, and cloud platforms to enable centralized management of vehicle status, driving behavior, and alarm information.

DMS

DMS identifies dangerous states such as fatigue, distraction, and smoking while driving in real time, promptly warns the driver, and collects and uploads analysis data to the cloud platform to generate intuitive data reports.

Sentry Radar

For risks in mining areas such as mixed pedestrian-vehicle traffic, close-proximity operations, and fuel theft/siphoning, Sentry Radar can sense pedestrians or abnormal approach behavior. When there is prolonged stay or high-risk approach, it triggers linked camera recording and alerts, helping drivers and managers intervene in advance.

Smart Lock

For access control over cargo compartments, oil tanks, and key compartment doors, the Smart Lock has independent positioning and remote lock/unlock capabilities. It supports authorized unlocking, lock/unlock log uploads, and abnormal unlocking alarms, reducing management blind spots regarding who opened it, when, and where.

Ultrasonic Fuel Level Sensor

It uses ultrasonic fuel level monitoring to sense fuel tank level changes without contact. When abnormalities such as a sharp fuel drop over a short period occur, it can alert the driver and administrator, providing a data basis for fuel management, fuel theft prevention, and fuel consumption accounting in mining areas.

At the exhibition, Magnetic North held in-depth talks with trade visitors and partners from mining transport, construction machinery, fleet operations, and local service channels about multi-scenario applications benchmarked in mining and extended to general engineering and heavy-haul transport. Rather than selling standalone hardware, it emphasizes modular, composable solutions: for fuel theft prevention, flexible combinations of Ultrasonic Fuel Level Sensor, Smart Lock, and Sentry Radar; for driving safety, configurations including DMS, alcohol detection, and front-view, reversing, and infrared cameras; for operations, connecting to the J30 Vehicle Data Recorder and cloud platform enables closed-loop management of tracking, alarms, video, reports, and maintenance.
